You remind me of me to an extent: fifteen year old girl who should be older and is forced to face the drama of society and deal with the limitations brought on by ageism. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who ever wants to disappear, and then I find there are others and I'm always surprised. People are crazy and narcissitic that way. We think to an extent that our own thoughts are the only ones that are viable since they're the only ones we hear. But if we all think the same way, then no one is really original at all. It's like the world is filled with robots.

Yeah, it's "me me me, I'm unique, nobody understands me"...and they tell you it's just a symptom of being a teenager, but in reality we're all like that for as long as we live. Sometimes I think that two human beings can never really know each other.

...I don't want to disappear in a morbid sense; I only want to observe. I observe and observe and find that I know the names of people I have never met, know who they're accquainted with, their primary hobbies...I creep myself out. It's like I stalk my entire community. And then I write about them in my livejournal!

We're curious machines, we are.
