It is starkly cold in my office; I have the space heater on at the maximum setting but it doesn't seem to work. As much as I hate to bundle up in layers, because layers make me look fat, I forced myself to wear stockings and 2 undershirts with a heavy wool turtle-neck sweater on top. Yet, I am still cold and looking ridiculously fat. But it's okay

how's the weather there? it's always good to be warm even though it does make us look fat.

i only started wearing thermals this year because i can't handle the harsh winter anymore. and i live in san jose, ca! i think i'd dig a hole and hibernate if i live where you are!

Oh no way that you wear thermals in san jose. Hmm, I would be wearing skirt and shorts if I live there...well, maybe not skirt and shorts, but something that does not required the bundle of layers. :)

I hate layers but they do keep me warm in this kind of brutal winter.

i only started wearing them this year because i lost about 10 lbs. over the summer. i have never been this skinny before. i guess that's why it feels so much colder this year for me.
