I would like to say thank you for not trying to take me without my leg as I suspect that would have been more difficult!

Walking day is big in parts of cheshire too (Especially the part that used to be in lancs). I believe mostly they were designed by the churches to take emphasis away from the Haydock Race weeks and the gambling attached to them.
