Following on from the conversations on Q&A tonight: as the economic crisis tightens, will our focus on acquiring ‘stuff’ as a competitve passtime diminish? And if so, will that lead to a rekindling of community?

I would love to a lessening in the obsession of "stuff". I would like to hope that the gap would be filled by people seeking more sustainable and enriching activities, which may lead to a greater sense of community
