I'm pretty sure that I saw BRMC at Reading, c. 2000-2002, in the Radio One tent or something. :)

Ah, no worries. Since you live in Edinburgh, i thought you may have seen them there at some point, and if so, i probally would have been there too.....

BRMC played Phoenix a few years back and after the show I was hanging around out back waiting for a ride when they all came out. There were only 20 or 30 people at the show so they hung out and even invited me onto the bus to eat pizza with them while they waited for their gear to get packed up. They were some of the coolest rock stars I've ever met. Know how to drink, too.

Hey, thanks! I saw lots of them at festivals. :)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who's seen Dashboard Confessional.
Cornershop! Were they good?

A lot of them were seen in the "Reading Years" where my heterosexual life partner and I went to Reading festival four years in a row.

That is an impressive list. Jealous about silverchair in particular, I can't help but lip synch to them and make angsty emo faces when I listen. Love love love! And I took a few songs from the mix CD in the earlier entry too! Go MFatGG!

I still have time for Silverchair, for sure. They were the first band I ever saw! I was recommended Daniel Johns' side project, the Dissassociatives recently, it's not bad.
And I'm glad you took some songs. :)
