[Too many saw through the End's illusion. Or perhaps it had been too weakened by Redd's brutal attacks.
Its influence wasn't affecting the passengers nearly enough, and apparently new tactics are called for. The Great Man himself is bleeding but still grinning furiously. And yet with so much of his magic directed to that shield, the End itself

She averts her eyes, knowing there is nothing she can do. The woman is dead before she finishing collapsing to the deck.
Then the Captain, his form rolling with cold fury, vanishes .. leaving them with the simple order to 'kill it'. Her words are soft as she forces herself to her feet, drawing her treated blade.]
Haven help us ..

[The Knight steps up beside the woman. He has little idea who she is, but that no longer matters. She's holding a blade - that much, he understands. His own sword, the long, slightly curved sabre, is a blaze of white fire in his hand. Esperacchius, the Sword of Hope, is as hungry for the death of evil as its wielder, apparently.
And Sanya is grinning. A feral, fatalistic grin.]
Come. While we wait for your haven, we should get to work, da?

Excuse Herz, he's just gonna stay where he is, curled on the floor, and vomit.]

The boy in front of him comes into focus and suddenly Herz wants to do is hold him. Hold him, even though he stinks of sweat and fear and vomit.]

She'd assisted him, given him gifts, more than one feather. Hearing of her presence had made him smile on more than one occasion and recently being able to talk to her? It had helped confirm things he'd been working to figure out since his arrival. He had been nothing but appreciative and grateful to her. And now he'd never get another tea with her.
He reaches for his dropped dagger as he hears Redd's command. The End had taken the illusionary form of Lucas in front of his eyes and in that attempt to break him, had only made Remy's will stronger. Lucas wouldn't have killed her. Lucas wouldn't have destroyed anyone's world. Lucas would fight to make sure that this would never happen again. Remy wasn't strong enough to take down the End on his own. He knew that. But damn it all if he wasn't going to do his best to help.]

Moonie tears into the red mess with her blue-stained claws, shrieking in a garbled howl of grief.]

Those eyes that were once filled with tears are now replaced with something else: hate, loathing, and unfettered rage. Kevas can be mocked, beaten, and broken and he'll not think twice about it, but to do this? To use his own daughter against him? To make a mockery of her memory as this thing has? That is unacceptable.
He is completely unaware to those around him. His eyes are locked on the red, pulsing mass before him. At the moment, his world consists of only him and it and before this day is done only one of them shall remain. Unfortunately for it, Kevas has no plans of going anywhere.
Crossing his blades, Kevas charges forward with his rage fueling him. His previous wounds all but forgotten now. He will fight, and he will keep fighting. Only death can stop him now.]

The mass is here. On the boat. With the blue gunk.
When Kevas streaks by, Ganondorf calls to him.]
Troll! Not so fast!

What?

He gestures towards the barrels of blue gunk, then hoists one on his shoulder.]
Instead of rushing off, assist me. Throw the barrels on it. Quickly! Move!
[AND HE'S LAUNCHING IT TOWARD THE END LIKE AN OLYMPIC CHAMPION.]
