Dude, butterfly dollars. I still need to go through the archives of this one, I seem to have ignored it for longer than is right.

In other news. (Obviously it is not really news but a comic)

FAO all, but especially polyphila - songs in which the word 'baby' occurs three times in a row. I used to have a more exhaustive list but watching 'The Hits' last ( Read more... )

this may or not may not have been on your original list, but there is a song by the carpenters that contains the line 'baby baby baby baby, oh baby'. no, honestly. sadly i'm not sure what it's called. the first line is 'long ago, and oh so far away'... maybe 'superstar'.

also there is a song called 'private number', (baby baby baby, you can have my private number...), old 70s type song, covered by (shudder) 911, can't remember who did it originally

also a song called 'baby' by, um, perhaps someone like ashanti? i suspect it of containing multiple repetitions.

you may wish to include "baby love" by the supremes although i think technically there are only two consecutive 'baby's on the lead vocal, the others are backing singers....(right at the start of the track, i think)

i shall put my mind to some more. they may be obscure.

How could you forget Britney? I am not even sure which songs - it may be all of them. Although the only one I can think of just now only has 2 babies... any thoughts?

Celine Dion - but that's the same as the Meatloaf song.

Fun Loving Criminals - Scooby Snacks ("and I said baby baby ba-by")

also: 'push it' by salt n pepa. which begins "ooh baby baby, baby baby. ooh baby baby, baby baby"

can't think of any more than two 'baby's in a britney song. although i think one of the remixes does...
