Chapter 6 - a chance from God

After the black BMW reached the Kim Mansion, two backseat occupants instantly ran towards the house, while the other one walked lifelessly.
Eun Hye went to the kitchen looking for a drink.
Jaejoong throw his bag carelessly near the couch and after that he sprawled onto the said couch. He looked at the ceiling silently.
Taemin looked at his brother and scooted closer trying to ask his brother to play basketball together.
“Hyu~”
“ARRGGGGGHHHHHH~!!!!”
Jaejoong suddenly yelled, making Taemin jump in surprise.
“Yah! What’s wrong with you?” Eun Hye said while walking to the living room.
“Nuna! Jae-hyung is weird… I swear I didn’t do anything to him,” Taemin walked towards Eun Hye while eyeing Jaejoong suspiciously.
Jaejoong only pouted at both of them.
“Min, can you leave us alone? Nuna needs to talk to your Jae-hyung so he won’t shock us with his scream again.”
“Ok, I will look for umma then.”
“I think she’s in the backyard.”
Taemin skipped happily to the backyard, leaving Eun Hye and Jaejoong alone.
“Yah, move,” Eun Hye tapped Jaejoong’s legs to make a room for her to sit.
Eun Hye observed Jaejoong closely.
“You acted weird,” Eun Hye stated the obvious.
“I’m not,” mumbled Jaejoong.
“So now, weird, what’s on your mind?”
“What do you think?” Jaejoong snapped in an annoyed tone.
Eun Hye twitched at the response she got, she raised her feet and tried to stomp her brother’s chest, “Is that the way to speak to your nuna?”
“Woah! Stop! Sorry!”
Eun Hye’s leg is still midair, “Care to tell me, now?”
Jaejoong nodded his head in response and Eun Hye dropped her feet back to its rightful place.
After a while, Jaejoong finally spoke, “It’s him.”
“Jung Yunho?”
Jaejoong automatically made an annoyed expression hearing that name, he sat up on the couch.
“Yeah, that constant nightmare when I was a child. You still remembered my stories right?”
“Every single one,” perhaps more than you, she thought.
Jaejoong clenched his fist, and stomped his feet while yelling, “Argh! Why now? Can’t I have a more peaceful time nowadays?! God, I will spend another 3 years seeing his face…”
“So?”
“So what?”
“What’s your plan? Do you want to move away perhaps?”
“Move? UH-HUH, No-way! I’m not that poor coward child anymore, why should I be afraid of him?”
“Aw! That’s my brother,” Eun Hye said happily and patted Jaejoong’s back heartily.
“I can’t believe that he’s still a bad mannered brat after all this time. Where did he receive his manner-lesson?”
“He’s acting like the president of the school, more like he thinks of himself as the ruler,” Eun Hye emphasized the word.
“Well, people called him prince.”
“What?! Is there any sane people who would do that?”
“Many actually,” after that Jaejoong told Eun Hye about the gossiper’s conversation.
“Wow, my doubt about his self-called reputation and status had ceased a little now. He seems to enjoy his ‘status’,”
“So much in fact. You know what? I will teach him a lesson! Its payback time for all my sufferings as a child,” Jaejoong said determinedly.
Eun Hye smiled and nodded at that. She had heard all of Jung Yunho’s acts towards her brother when they were still children and now seeing Yunho in person made her want to be involved in the “lesson” herself.
“Ok, you know how much I love you brother. I’ll help you. Now, spill me the plan!” Eun Hye smiled evilly.
Jaejoong sighed and looked at Eun Hye with pleading eyes while saying, “That’s the problem. I haven’t thought of any.”
Eun Hye’s smile instantly fades away.
“Stupid,” she commented automatically.
“You know that I’m a kind hearted person deep inside. I don’t know how to punish someone. Moreover, someone like Jung Yunho,”
“You really haven’t thought of anything?”
“At first I wanted to cover his head with smelly sack, beat him into a pulp, tie him and throw him in the nearest river,”
Eun Hye looked alarmed, “Sounds like my methods,” but then she continued, “But it won’t work; we should strip him first, take pictures and spread it across Korea.”
This time Jaejoong is the one who looked alarmed.
“Ok, I’m just joking. We’re not uneducated people. Our revenge should be brilliant.”
“Yeah, I think so too. 3 years of grief paid with a night of sufferings? Definitely not fair.”
“The best way to take revenge, is from his weakness.”
“What weakness did he have? I doubt son of Satan will have even one -wait, he’s a Satan now.”
They thought together, however after some time…
*Sighed*
“Since I’m your kind hearted nuna, I will help you search for his weakness.”
“How?”
“Asking, duh~”
“And no one will answer, even if they do know, duh~” Jaejoong answered back.
“Of course I will not go around and ask ‘Hey you! Do you know that jerk Jung Yunho’s weakness?” Eun Hye said in desperate tone, “From your previous story, it seems that Jung Yunho is a very famous person in university, we should just ask people about his background. If we say that we don’t want any trouble with him, I’m sure there will be tons of people willing to help.”
“Sounds good, but what if people don’t know about his weakness.”
“Then, we encounter a real problem,” she said grimly, “Tell you what dear brother, let’s continue thinking about this tomorrow, after we gather some information,”
“Yeah,”
“Oh yeah, what should we do if we meet one of his gang members, Eun Hye?”
“Don’t even think about meeting them! Avoid them; avoid all three of them,”
“Yup, sounds easy,” Jaejoong nodded in approval.

It really DID sound easy. The university complex is HUGE. The amount of students here is massive. So how can a person find trouble in hiding himself or avoiding someone?
EASY. MY ass.
Early in the morning, he almost meets up with Yoochun near the university’s parking lot. Luckily he saw him and decided to jump behind bushes.
On his way to his second class that day, Jaejoong saw a mob of people from a far which turns out, group of girls surrounding Yunho walking towards his way. He scrambled on his way to the nearest restroom.
At the lunch time, he and Eun Hye walked out hastily from the cafeteria after seeing Changmin getting in line to get his food.
“He’s actually quite nice, you know.” Jaejoong said after they settled in the garden.
“Is he one of your bullies?”
“No, I don’t remember him at all. I only remember Jung Yunho, Park Yoochun, Choi Shiwon and Choi Dongwook: the cousins.”
“There’s only four of them? How come your childhood was messed by them?”
“They’re rich and have power on other students,” Jaejoong throw a look -which says isn’t-it-obvious- to Eun Hye, “Sometimes they make the other students bully me, but the majority of it was done by them.”
Eun Hye tapped her finger on her chin, “Then, Changmin is not involved in our plan, right?”
“Yup.”
“Then we should see the other two guys to complete this. Oh yeah, have you started your investigation?”
Jaejoong shook his head weakly, seeing the pointed look Eun Hye thrown at him, he said in a hurry,
“I have no chance at all! I almost met all three of them today!”
“Tsk, you’re really lucky to have me on your side.”
“Have you got something?”
“Hehe, many of it actually.”
“Share with me!” Jaejoong exclaimed.
“No, no, no! You must do your work too!”
Eun Hye stood and walked towards her faculty’s area. “We will exchange info tonight. So prepare me high quality report, dear brother!”
Jaejoong pouts at that, she knew that he is not a smooth talker like her. He can freely talk to strangers after some time, but he’s not used to talking first to strangers, usually people started a conversation with him, not the other way around. He doesn’t know why, but he just can’t bring himself to start a conversation.
How can I gain valuable info?

His last class for today had ended. All of the students tidied up their things. Jaejoong observed his surroundings, he noticed some people eyeing him and whispering.
Why don’t you people start talking to me? Inner Jaejoong screamed.
After waiting some time by slowly gathering his books, Jaejoong noticed that he’s the only one left in the room. Irritated, he made his way outside, however before he can reach the door, someone tapped his shoulder.
“Hey, you, can you help me to return these books to Mr. Park Sang Young?” his lecturer put many thick books into his arms, “I have to go to the hospital right away so I can’t give these to him.”
“You should look for him in the 3d floor of C Building. Ok, thank you,” his lecturer did not even wait for his reply and dashed away.
Damn, Jaejoong thought, I bet the other students had run away because of this.
He walked outside the class and wandered around until he noticed something important.
Where is C Building exactly? Jaejoong thought desperately. I haven’t memorized this entire campus layout!
Well like I can, his mind added.
Jaejoong looked at his surroundings trying to find a person to ask for direction, but found no one. Right before he dropped into desperate state he heard voices from a far. Jaejoong smiled and try to guess the direction.
There’s still someone around! Where? He definitely had heard a man -oh no, two men’s voices.
“Wait you brat!” a voice yelled.
“No way, I know you’ll hit me!” another retorted
Oh, from the garden! Jaejoong turned around right when a person jumped from the bushes behind him and -successfully crashed into him and making Jaejoong and the books sprawled to the floor.
“Ouch!”
“Shit,” that man cursed. “Watch your way when you walk!”
Irritated, Jaejoong immediately snapped “You are the one who jumped from nowhere and knock me! And now you told me to watch my way?!”
That man froze instantly when he caught a glimpse of Jaejoong.
“No manners at all,” Jaejoong hissed, trying to stand up.
“Isn’t your voice a bit too deep for a girl?” that man asked again.
TWITCH.
“YAH! I’m a man can’t you see?” Jaejoong straightened his postures so the man can see his chest perfectly.
That man’s face instantly reddens because of that, and they can hear laughter boomed from behind him.
“HAHAHA!!! How can you mistake him for a girl?” the other person, who seems to had chased the first guy, clutch his stomach between his laughter.
“Geez,” it’s the only word escaped Jaejoong’s lips for he’s to annoyed. He made his way to the forgotten books.
“Let me help,” the first guy said, “These are too much for the first week of a student, don’t you think?”
“It’s not mine, these are the lecturer’s,” Jaejoong said, “Do you know where C building is? I’m new here,”
“Oh, you’re a new kid? Um that makes sense why you’re face looks unfamiliar,” the second guy said.
“Like you can memorize all of the student’s faces.” The first guy who actually looked quite nice retorted and added to Jaejoong, “Come, I’ll show you the way to C building,”
“Not all, only the eye candy,” the second guy answered playfully.
“What’s your name?” the first guy who had carried half of the books asked Jaejoong while they’re walking.
“Uh, Kim-”
“My name is Choi Dongwook!” the second guy interfered in a cheerful tone, “And he’s Choi Siwon. We’re cousins by the way, before you ask.”
Jaejoong’s breath hitched and his eyes almost bulged out. WHAT!!
“Wh-what?” he asked, voicing his thoughts.
“Choi Siwon,” Siwon repeated kindly.
“And I’m Choi Dongwook, why do you look so surprised? Oh! I bet you had heard about us!”
Siwon made a face to Dongwook’s assumption, “Yeah, perhaps he had heard how small your brain is but still forcing to enter this university.”
Dongwook smacked Siwon’s head in response, and Siwon kicked his ass quickly. They continue to beat each other while Jaejoong watched in shock and disbelief.
Wait…
Perhaps, this is a chance from God.
Second hand information is never as good as info from the real sources…
Jaejoong smiled while watching the cousins’ bantering verbally and physically.

That evening, Kim Mansion…
Eun Hye had come to Jaejoong’s room for their info exchange.
“So now, what do we have here?”
“Ladies first,”
“Ok,” Eun Hye said energetically.
*cough*
“I have to say first, that they really are famous in the university. Hell, they had been famous all their life for their family’s reputations and wealth. But, it makes my investigation easier, for almost every people in campus knows them, their backgrounds and characteristics.”
“Starting from Park Yoochun, he is the only son from the Park’s family. His family owns many resorts and recreational places, amusement and theme’s park across Korea. He is the best friend of Jung Yunho, the most trusted one, I think. He’s the one that understood and tolerated Yunho the most. He’s been rich all his life, and a really great womanizer. He is a big player. Almost all of the pretty girls in university had been his prey, even the lecturers, but there’s no one lasted for more than 3 months. Rumors said that he actually can go for girls and boys, as long as they have a really sweet or pretty face,” Eun Hye said smoothly while holding a piece of paper, “Well, we actually got his weakness: he has a weak spot for pretty people and he’s known for always keeping his player reputation.” She recalled the day when Yoochun couldn’t take his eyes off of Jaejoong.
“Second is-”
“Wait,” Jaejoong cut.
“Are you writing down all of the info?”
“No, I had remembered all of it actually. I’m holding a paper just to build the atmosphere; we’re having a serious assessment here.”
Jaejoong only rolled his eyes for his sister’s playfulness.
“Next is Choi Siwon, he is from the Choi family just like Choi Dongwook. They had been together since they were babies. The Chois own a modeling agency and also one of the owners of national television station. They had been the follower of Jung Yunho since in Elementary school; I think you know that part.”
“Yup, living witness,”
“Choi Siwon is a smart boy and more serious than his playful and humorous cousin Choi Dongwook. Siwon and Dongwook is also a player although people say that they are a level lower than Yoochun,”
“Why?”
“They can’t break their girls smoothly like Yoochun did. I have a little difficulty in finding their weaknesses, sorry.”
“That’s okay, Eun Hye,” Jaejoong smiled.
“Last but not least is Jung Yunho. He is the only son of the Jungs, because of the reputation of his family he used to act as the ruler of the world. As a matter of fact, he is the ruler of this university. He is a bad tempered man and always rude to people. He likes to use his power and family’s reputation to threaten people. He doesn’t like to be challenged or opposed,”
Eun Hye watched Jaejoong, who had twirled pencil in his fingers, trying to look indifferent.
“Unfortunately for us, academically he’s quite smart -which actually shows that he has a brain-” Jaejoong sniggered at this, and he comments, “How unfortunate.”
“He’s also a really qualified athlete in many sports. Perhaps that’s why he’s so popular with girls. But up to this day he never dated anyone. No one knows the precise reason. Some said that his parents did not allow him to date random girls. Some others said that he’s actually into boys, which -according to my sources- had been denied by the person himself.”
“I think his weakness is that he’s easily provoked plus short tempered. But, how can we use this?” Eun Hye scratched the back of her head which is not itchy at all, and looking at Jaejoong.
“Your turn,” Eun Hye sits in his brother’s bed, across Jaejoong who sits in the chair.
“I didn’t get quite much actually.”
“Figures,” Eun Hye took a pillow and threw it playfully to Jaejoong, who catches it immediately. Eun Hye lay on her brother’s bed.
“First, I know that Shim Changmin is Yunho’s relative, his parents passed away in a car accident when he was 10, since then he’s living with the Jungs. He thinks of Yunho as his older brother and I think it’s the same for Yunho,” Jaejoong started.
“I think we shouldn’t involve him in this,” Eun Hye eyed her brother warily, while she remembers the good nature-hungry boy from yesterday.
“No, we don’t involve him. But it proves one thing, Shim Changmin also knows Yunho really well. Other than Park Yoochun, it will be Shim Changmin that Yunho trusts the most.”
“About the Chois, I just realized that they actually really competitive around each other. They even compete about the amount of their exs!”
“Why?”
“Don’t know. They act just like brothers towards each other, but they do have this competitive aura for each other. I think we can use that.”
“How do you know?” Eun Hye asked skeptically.
Jaejoong shows his toothy smiles, “I spent hours with both of them this afternoon,”
“What?! How?” She sits instantly at that.
“Well, let’s just say that I accidentally bump into them today, and they spent the afternoon chatting with me.”
“Did they recognize you?”
“No, not at all. The best part is that I didn’t even mention my name to them, while they kept blabbering about themselves, Yunho, Yoochun and Changmin to me.”
“WOW! What did you do?”
“Like your advice, I said that I’m a new transfer student and need “directions” for many things in this university. I didn’t exactly ask them to tell about the university’s ruler!”
“Hahaha!! They sure talk a lot then!”
“Yeah, that’s why I said they have this competitive aura. Whenever, Siwon talked to me, Dongwook tries to capture my attention with his story, after that Siwon will try to re-capture my attention with his story about the university. So yeah, they spill a lot.”
“What other things did you know?”
“Yunho, we can say that he’s the leader of their little gang. They actually respect him, although they hardly show it and always teasing his simple -innocent side,” Jaejoong though for a moment and continued.
“Although I can’t associate Jung Yunho with the word innocent, it’s hard to imagine. But, that’s what they say about him. Yunho is actually innocent; however he’s also not easy to forgive someone.”
Eun Hye nodded her head showing that she is listening carefully.
“They also mentioned about the fact that Yunho is still single till this day. They said that it’s because Yunho…” Jaejoong chuckled and shook his head.
“Hard to believe, but they say Jung Yunho is a believer in true love.” Jaejoong paused.
“He wants to find the right person and hahaha -fall in love completely.” he can’t help anymore but laughing,
“He wants that person to like him the way he is, wholly and not because of the ‘Jung’ he likes to brag. That’s why he never has any relations with girls, because he can’t bring himself to believe those girls. Hahaha, can you believe that Eun Hye? Of all the things the Chois spilled to me today, I think this is the most hilarious one. I don’t believe it, hahaha,” Jaejoong closed his explanation with laughter.
Eun Hye on the other hand had been silent for a few minutes, as if she’s in a trance.
“No…” She widened her eyes in realization.
“Huh?” Jaejoong stopped his laughing activity.
“No, it does make sense! You’re great! This definitely is a chance from God!”
“I don’t get it.”
“What is the reason for someone like Yunho who is surrounded by players not turn into one? Why he keeps rejecting the girls? Why there’s no one who actually knows the real reason for his actions?”
“It’s because he’s different. It’s because he WAITS!” Eun Hye exclaims.
“Waits? For what?”
“For the right person to walk into his life,”
Eun Hye stood abruptly and walked around Jaejoong’s room, “He’s short tempered and bad mannered. While deep inside, he’s a simple and innocent person who wants to believe in love and wait for the love of his life. All of it is just a mask which only be known by his closest friends,”
Jaejoong only raised his eyebrow at Eun Hye’s comment.
“Jaejoong! Jung Yunho may look like a lion on the outside but on the inside he’s a kitten!”
“So?”
“Jung Yunho had reserved a spot in his heart for a certain person, for the love of his life. Person like this is actually have a very fragile heart,”
“Then?”
“Why you still don’t get it?! It’s his weakness!!! His fucking weakness!”
Eun Hye laughed maniacally. “I just noticed this… None of the four of them had actually recognized you, right?”
“Yeah, they don’t recognize me at all,” Jaejoong answered still confused.
She continued in desperate tone, “Can you imagine for a person like Jung Yunho to actually fall in love? After he opens up his heart for someone and declared his undying love. What if his lover will dump him in front of everybody? It will be hilarious!”
Jaejoong think for a moment, “Yeah, it will be a huge humiliation for him, so what’s the good news? We can’t use it anyway.”
“That’s where you come in, my brother! You are his true love!!! Imagine his reaction once he knew he had fallen in love with his ex-victim! You!”
“HUH?!!”

AN: So, what do you guys think of this chapter? It’s quite long (13 pages, ACK!) and I’m tired typing it. Sorry, if some parts are boring, my brain had been infected by campus activity which just started.
Who had guessed that the two unidentified man is actually Siwon and Dongwook?
And FYI, I never intentionally make it 4! No, I just realized that there’s actually four of the university’s famous man. Gosh!
Now you know the form of Jaejoong’s revenge. What about it? I think many of you had already guessed it right? Hopefully it’s not lame.
But, there are still details of Eun Hye’s crazy plan that hadn’t been uncovered! Wait for it!
AN2: Did any of you know, what’s the meaning of Gegoutmani ne sesang? The song which Jaejoong sang? I want to know the meaning please!! Out of the context, sorry.
