im glad you're not freaking out about it like some people are; i was perusing forums and some smart person said something like "people are finally beginning to realize that its a phone and an ipod: two things they already had."

that basically sums up what i think of it. im excited for the new ipod/generation 2 iphone, though.

and as for your family being gone, where are they?

and sometimes its nice when the family is all gone because that way you can take a night completely to yourself...it gets bad when you just sit around and dwell on how alone/bored you are though. get up and do something tedious you have been putting off...like in my case cleaning (like, actually cleaning) my room whilst blasting amazing music, or posting a million facebook pictures.

and yeah my family's up north, i didnt go with them cuz theyre leaving coincided with me being on a coming back from a camping trip. i was thinking about cleaning the kitchen, maybe ill give it ago. oh yeah and the music thing is a must haha

after reading that i was so much less interested in getting one. oh, and its 500-600 dollars...with a two year plan...oh, and thats not counting the money per month for said plan.

like i said, iphone v2 is going to be a must-have, but this one is far from extraordinary.

personally, i find about half that list irrelevent, but that isnt to say i didnt find faults with it. the keyboard was gastly, but i trust all the reviews that say it gets better as you go. i think that the fact that so many people have been pointing out its flaws may have attributed to my lack of want. and price is just something ya gotta deal with, after all, its apple. but you're right, after seeing what they've done with this one first hand, 2G is gonna blow minds.
