i was reading an article on the golden gate bridge just then (or more specifically, people jumping off the golden gate bridge), and this struck me as one of the saddest things ive read ( Read more... )

well, the point is less that he lived, and more that this same thought probably runs through the minds of the other couple of hundred people that kill themselves in this manner every year. or the thousands of people per year who kill themselves in general.
