I know some of you write original fic, so I thought I'd pass this along. I heard this on the radio the other morning. It's a contest to write "three minute fiction" (about 500-600 words), put on by NPR.

Hmmm...the first link says the contest is closed, but the second one doesn't say that at all...

Not that I could enter since I'm not in the US...

Oh, you know I think they had a first round that just finished up. Maybe it worked so well they're doing it again?

I've been watching the C Series of QI this weekend and in one episode they were talking about being able to buy Deep Fried Curly Wurlys in Scotland.

I think I've been put off for life. D:

BWAH! Yeah, that doesn't sound so appetizing. But then deep fried Snickers or Twinkies never sounded good to me either.
