I didn't really go into details of Torchwood in the altverse, but in my mind it's somewhere between Yyvone's Torchwood and Jack's Torchwood. It's not as large and as organized as we saw in Doomsday, but it's not the rag-tag operation Jack's got going. Rose is an agent for it, but a lone wolf. She refused to take on any partners and a lot of times does her own thing. Pete indulges her because she's great to have in a crisis.
And in that one Team TARDIS immediately started sorting out bedrooms when they got back to the TARDIS. Jack claimed one that was centrally located. Rose got her old room back and the Doctor hovered for the longest time, pointing out how there was shampoo in the shower and her clothes were still in the closet...until Rose finally had enough and jumped him. (I actually wrote that last bit for a sequel that never got written.)
Oh, another thing that was intended but never got written was Rose discovering a photo album of the Doctor's - something different past companions had kept and updated.
I like that! I'm sorry you didn't write that part because Rose getting fed up with the babbling Doctor and jumping him would have a great read.
*digs that part up*
Rose's eyes fluttered open at the sound of a tie sliding out of a collar. A rush of cool air hit her as the Doctor climbed into bed. She rolled over to find her now-familiar place with her head on his chest.
"Find anything?" she whispered sleepily.
"No," he replied softy.
"Mmmm." Rose absently rubbed her foot against his socked foot. She was fairly pleased to have trained him when it came to sleeping outside of the TARDIS. Probably helped that the first time they spent the night elsewhere, he'd gotten into bed with his full suit and shoes, to which Rose laughed at him until the jacket and shoes came off.
He brushed her hair back from her face and kissed her forehead. She felt his fingers running through her hair, down to her neck... It was at that point Rose realized she was still rubbing at his foot, which probably was not a good idea as she had no intention of

The Doctor was/is in the process of making chicken spaghetti. Not that he had a recipe for it, but he liked spaghetti and he liked chicken and so...chicken spaghetti! (I'd even starting writing out details about this, but axed it since it wasn't really all that important.)

They honeymooned in Blackpool at this horrible little hotel that Jackie arranged for them. The room was bright pink with loads of naked cupids.
