This episode felt totally silly to me. The show keeps saying that magic comes with a price, and then there is no real price. and the show has never explained why, say, Emma can help Regina out with the magic stuff, but Snow and Charming can't. Although I do sort of love that she can, and totally agree that the Emma/Regina and Emma/Hook shippers are going to town on this ep.

But, yes, at least Belle has her books. :) I admit I'm pleased to see Neal alive and with Aurora and Mulan. I kinda thought maybe we had just forgotten about them.

I think Emma has magic because she was created by True Love™. But I'm not sure.

And maybe the price is EMO. LOTS OF EMO. XD

I can buy that she HAS magic because of True Love, but not that she can DO magic just at the drop of a hat. Of course, "training" to do magic seems to involve nothing more than Rumple showing up and asking you to be Evil. I mean, there aren't even any montages!

And maybe the price is EMO. LOTS OF EMO. XD

I think it says something about me that I can accept that explanation.

Speaking of parents, Henry's got the weirdest effing family. Charming, Rumple and Hook as grandparents, Regina is his great grandmother and also his adoptive mother. Snow is grandma, Emma and Bae as parents...

He totally does. XD

I was like; OMG!! mrv3000 is LOVING that!!

I SQUEED. MORE OF THAT, PLEASE.

Is Henry Peter Pan? Hmm could work, but in the book it's Peter looking for his shadow not the shadow looking for Peter. *shrugs*

I guess I assumed they reversed that, but I guess that might not be the case. We could yet meet Peter Pan.

The Regina/Hook/Rumple wank will continue well into S3 as they all double and triple cross each other. *Sighs*

I'm hoping the Charmings ditch them quickly. :D

It’s also a clever way to shed secondary cast members.

Unfortunately, that seems to include Belle. :( Maybe it’s time for me to find something else to watch.

I am sad that Belle seems to be going away. Maybe the actress has other things? :\

Nope, she's set as a series regular next season.

ETA: According to the actress herself on Twitter.

And you will write them all down, right? :D

At least Belle is back to herself and gets to be a librarian? She'll probably have little bird helpers. :D

Meeeeeeh. I'm trying to be a responsible member of fandom and keep my "..." to a quiet minimum. Mostly, I just want to remind everyone that Hook and Millah had, what, like ten years to snag Bae and play happy families? And it wasn't like it was hard for Hook to carry Millah off. And it probably would have been an improvement from Bae's eventual sentence of being pressed into service for decades-old war with ogres. Y'know. But what do I know?

HA, NO. No birds in the library! But I can totally see her press-ganging the local children. Volunteering is good for child development, right? Also, whatever, her boyfriend's immortal, he's fine.

1. YES. During that scene I was "you and Millah were assholes, you know that?"

2. LOL.
