Aww, he can't kill off Jack. Boejack has to happen!!! Great, now I'm worried. I can't really get over the burn victim- I mean clearly he's conscious and must be in extraordinary pain, how do you administer pain meds for something like that if the guy is just a pile of bones?

Gwen was pretty damn kick-ass, as was Rhys. :D

Oh yeah, the burned body thing was DISTURBING. God, RTD just always writes in horrible stuff like that where the implications just STAY WITH ME. *shudder*

Gah, and after that when they shot down the helicopter I was just like "great, now you made TWO MORE of those icky sad burned-corpse-people!!" ...and they just look at each other like "yay" which, cute, but I was still a bit Aaah ICK. :)

I don't think they'll kill off Jack.

I don't either; he and Gwen are Torchwood. But I love, love, LOVE that they've opened up that Pandora's Box of angst. Because really, how could Jack not think about this as an opportunity to 'escape'? Hundreds of years of man!pain can weigh on a guy, you know?

Exactly! It'll be very interesting to see what's done with that, and RTD just isn't one to shy away from the angst.
