I agree overall; as for Katee Sackhoff, I'm just so amused by the fact that when I first began watching BSG and fell head over hard for Starbuck, I called her the female version of Jack Bauer. I always called him SuperJack! and I began calling her SuperKara! (obviously before she stopped being super) and reasoned that if they ever got together, WOW! would they take over the universe. And sorta, here they are, together. Hee!
24 is pretty much like that, isn't it? You may have different fixin's in each season, but recently it's started out with Jack getting dragged into something, Jack's hunch (or in this case Chloe's) not being trusted, and then everything being exactly as he/they predicted
( ... )
Yes, Kim did do well last season. Seems like we've already seen most of what we're going to see of her this season though, which means that Chloe is going to have to step up - and rumour has it that sometime towards the end of the season she will.
I was happy that there was Chloe/Jack interaction, and in person no less! That's so rare on the show... New CTU boss is kind of a dick, so hopefully he'll see the light and realize that Jack is always right. And that he's a dick. Kim didn't annoy me in the slightest which is always a pleasant surprise.
Now, I normally watch 24 with a healthy dose of "ignore reality" blinders on, but one thing from last night is really bothering me. So Starbuck has some deep dark secret that could ruin her career if it comes out - so how did she get the job in the first place? What, CTU doesn't bother to run background checks on people? The girl has a new name, and some redneck from her past can find her no problem, but CTU couldn't figure it out? LAME.

Oh, I'm sure he will. That's kind of inevitable, I think.

She was rather sweet, wasn't she?

Yeah, that's pretty amusing, isn't it? Kind of like when they do SCIENCE on a sci-fi show. :D
Hey in your opinion do you think I should watch this show? I tried to get into it a couple of times when it first premiered and it never caught me, but I've been thinking of giving it another try. You know my tastes by now. Scifi, paranormal, drama, soaps, romance, etc. On the action/suspense/mystery side of things I love/ed Flash Forward, Lost, Alias, Leverage, Castle, In Plain Sight and so on. Thoughts?
Hmmm. It might be kind of hard coming into this season since there are quite a few holdovers from last season. If you want to give it a try, I'd say try starting with S7.
No, I take that back. I'd start with the 2 hour Special that took place between S6 and S7 called "Redemption."
It was kind of a fresh start on the whole thing, and pretty much its own story even though it leads into S7.

Well, if Agent CYA anything like Agent Doofus Larry last season, he'll realize that just before he dies a horrible death. ... I could get behind that.
