good for you, we've got some ass paper that shows up on our driveway and everyone elses - no one asked for it and so no one picks them up. Our street is littered with the damn things. One of these days I should probably take a look at which paper it is and follow your example.

So open one, if it is the DC Examiner which used to be the Journal send the guy that I mentioned here an eMail - they will stop. And then send eMail to your county board and complain. I cna send you a copy of mine if you wish to just cut and paste!

eMail them! mrtwitchy March 10 2005, 12:28:32 UTC
T, send them eMail - I found them most non-responsive over the phone. I would while you are at it find the eMail address of your county board and copy them on the eMail to the examiner. It gets their attentin very quickly..... what might be even better is to have "the lawyer" ;-) send it with his "esq" designation in his signature. That'll scare the bejesus out of them. Why haven't you posted today? I wish I were busier....

thank you so much for posting this! i was literally about to go look up their phone number so i could stop getting their stupid paper... apparently no one in my neighborhood reads it, which means there are piles of several weeks' worth of soggy, snow- and rain-laden "examiner"s. ugh.

when i was living in clendon and they were weekly i called and had them stop delivery. i didn't realize they had gone to 6 times a week circulation! that's insane. way to go!

i've thought about doing that again where i am now, but sadly the local rags (i think we get two or three different ones for some reason) is useful to julie's business.
