It's good. I do think it had a pretty good ending, at least.

I loved the 2nd half of first season too. I think the show really took off when they added Derek and gave the show far more of an ensemble cast. It lags a bit in the middle of 2nd season, but most of 2nd season was excellent, and even the less good middle portions were better than many shows.
