 How come two of the last three polls showed Howard gaining ground like the shark from Jaws, when the third - and other polls all year - showed Labor winning by a clear margin (the actual result)? Was someone trying to manipulate the polls to give the Right a last-minute flash of hope? Or did two different poll companies stuff up the same way at
