No sooner did I post that then my mother tells me she took video of him doing it. What this is is him driving it down the street, stopping to talk to a neighbor and the neighbor wanting a ride on it. He had to get off of it, though, it bottomed out.

Here's my mom's neighborhood after all the rain yesterday. She was stuck at the end of the block trying to get home. My dad, in all his glory, unhooked their jet ski to go pick her up. I wish I could have seen him riding down the street on that thing ( Read more... ) -
What to do???
We need some sort of PA to announce the events and awards at the Olympics. Anyone know of anything like this that we can borrow or rent? We're getting desperate here. -
More Olympics Events
We have added a frisbee throw (discus) and a ring toss for points. These will both be ribbon events that the boys can do throughout the day. Thanks to who suggested it. Keep the ideas coming people. I'm hoping to get at least 3 more of these types of things.

Cub Scout Olympics
We have a bunch of different events scheduled for the Olympics coming up. We've ended up with a lot of team/pack events though. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any other events that we can use to help the boys pass the time while the team events are running. Update on my freak out.
Logan didn't seem to realize that anything had happened at school. Which is good. He said that they did an Intruder Alert "drill" at school which is basically where the principal calls over the PA that there's an intruder and to lock down until the all clear is given. So they played it off to the kids like it was a drill. So the door to their room ( Read more... ) -
Ways to totally freak a mother out...
Number 1...Have the mother find out that the school is locked down. No one is allowed on or off of school property and the police are there. Then, don't answer the phones at the school at all. Or, if you actually talk to said mother, tell her that you can't say what is going on at all. You know, leave her alone to assume the worst and freak totally ( Read more... ) -
Finally getting out of this house
I've been rat holed up in here for a long time now. So, tonight, I'm going out. Bruce is ticked but I'm really past the point of caring right now. I can't decide if I want to go to the drive in or go out dancing. If I can find my boots, dancing it may very well be!!! -

WOOHOO!!!! It's the first day of school!!!
Well for one of them anyway. Jake doesn't start for a couple more weeks. Logan went this morning, though. It is SO quiet in this house already. Jake is kinda upset because he was wanting to go to school too. I told him he gets to go soon and that's held him over for now.
