Channel 4 - Paralympics 2012

Okay, for my first post in six months, I’m going to put this out there, and it may be a little controversial; but, personally, I don't care what others are saying, I think C4 have done a damn good job of televising the Paralympic Games 2012

I think their coverage improved as it went along - helped tremendously by the fact that their website actually started working properly - and as a consequence it started dragging me into more and more sports. However, some of their decisions in regard to when to break to adverts or the studio during matches (not races) was totally baffling. It wasn't even as if it was all the fault of the adverts (plague of the devil that they are) some of it was just chit-chat which could have been saved for later

I think it helped I was watching on Sky where they had 3 seperate dedicated channels - all sport and no adverts :) Even so, I kept switching back for the analysis, which I actually think has been first rate, and Clare has been the star of the show - as always - for me.

Don't know if you watched The Last Leg too, but this one grew on me. Tonight, Adam's farewell speech brought a tear to my eye. You know if there's one thing I learned as a physiotherapist it's that, sometimes, you have to laugh at what the world has dealt you, otherwise you'd be lost, and that's what The Last Leg has shown, it's okay to share a joke, to laugh with, rather than at. Brilliant.
