Great review! I love that the main character has a dachshund. My family has had a dachshund in it for about as long as I can remember, and we've got two right now. They're awesome dogs with just as much personality as the one in this book seems to have! Looks like another book for my wish list!
Finished this today. I didn't really care for this, Jill. The best parts to me were the descriptions of Egypt. I've been to Cairo, and she does a wonderful job describing the settings of the book.
However, I really didn't care for the 1st person narration and that she speaks to the reader. I didn't care for the ending *at all*. I still want to read A Thread of Grace sometime.
