You can't stop there!

*pouts*

Even though they've only said two words to each other, I can't help but swoon.

I'm sorry! I promise to show lots of post-wedding fun and swoony times in Chapter 33!

Thanks for reading, though, babe. Really happy that brief exchange was swoonworthy. :D

It makes me so happy that Robert actually tries to understand Mary for just a second. I almost don't hate Lord Manpain anymore. :-P

And I was really, really expecting Richard to cheat and turn around...BUT HE DIDN'T. Perhaps he's turning over a new leaf after all.

Part of me dislikes Robert so much that I felt bad about letting him redeem himself here...But I have a little revenge plotted before the end of this and that took the edge off. ;) Seriously, glad you liked the scene. :D

And if Richard hadn't knocked Mary up before the wedding, he totally would have gotten a sneak peek before she got tot he altar. ;)

Thanks for commenting, bb!

Yay, the wedding! True to form, she finally goes up the aisle in a wonderfully Mary-like bubble - I love her worries about the bridesmaids, the attire of the men and her reaction to a kilt, as well as her supreme confidence in her own beauty - but it's nice to see that overriding all that is her eagerness to marry Richard and concern about what he thinks of her. I liked Richard is not the man of her dreams, but he is hers, which manages to be both practical and loving, all in one admission. She has come quite a way since the start of this ( ... )

It was about as cruel a place to end this wedding as the S3 wedding endpoint, wasn't it? Just trying to keep with the spirit of Downton. ;) The reception is well underway, so hopefully the wait between the altar and it won't be too long ( ... )
