I wish you could have seen my face when I saw that you posted a new part of this.

KISSING. Finally. But oh, it was so worth the wait. Also, I absolutely adored Sybil's thoughts about Branson being a passionate, fiery Irishmen. Having an Irish background myself, that made me smile.

Also, I so love the image of Branson changing the tyre in the rain. He takes his job so seriously. Also, Sybil learning how to parallel park. Hee hee.

Aw, it's so nice to hear that you were excited to see the update and thought the kissing was worth the wait. I was a little afraid a flat tire in the rain and kissing in the car was a little cliche, but I just had to do car-related romance with these two! Thanks so much for your lovely words. :)

This update totally made my day. I had an awkward doctor's appt and this was such a consolation :).

I gushed over at the pit, but I'll just say again how much I love this and how excited I am each time you update. You are a brilliant writer and you have such a hold on these two! More more more please!

Yuck to awkward doctor's appointments! Nothing like a little fic afterward as a pick-me-up. And you are making me blush and get a big head all at once. Seriously, you have been such a boost to my confidence after over a year of not really getting to write and feeling pretty rusty. You make me want to write more. Lots more. :D

Oh, yum, lol. This totally makes me feel like I'm right there ogling watching Branson -- who can blame Sybil for not being able to look away?

And yay for Sybil being good at handling the car, too.

Oh, that Branson is yummy, isn't he? I think he could even turn me into a socialist... I'm very happy you feel I have captured his yumminess charisma here, and I just love the idea of Sybil being a good driver. She handled that horse and buggy pretty well, after all! One of my ff.net reviewers commented that she envisions flapper!Sybil driving around in her own car. I totally concur with that image, haha!

Thanks so much for coming and commenting today. I've been frustrated by lack of writing time and not quite knowing how to begin the next chapter, but this provides considerable motivation. :D
