A couple that trusts each other enough to sleep together before taking that next step is probably the most romantic idea in the entire world to me, and this is such a lovely way for that to have come about! I love Remus's memories of their getting ready for bed together, and his feelings of being at home with Tonks. And of course the things they get up to in the morning are just perfect, lol. Steamy, but tender and sweet and romantic.

I'm giggling about the score sheet -- I thought they'd try to find a way around having their activities show up like that, but it probably is easier to just bribe Sirius after the fact! ;)

There is something terribly romantic about a couple choosing to simply sleep together first, and it's lovely to hear that you think it worked here. We wanted to establish that intimacy before they moved on the following morning, but we thought that in order for it to move that quickly, they needed to firmly establish that level of trust, first.

See, the reason Sirius is in charge of organising the mission is down to his experience in magical semi-sentient pieces of parchment, so of course, the thing is full proof -- not that either of them were particularly in the mood to set about attempting to foil it at the crucial moment!
