I have to admit, the first time I ever read HBP and found out the whole R/T thing was canon (OMG YAY, LOL), I thought her hair was imitating his.

It wasn't until I came online and spoke to people that I realised that other people thought that was her natural colour. I dunno though. Personally, I like it my/our way. :D XDDD

Peace,
Rotae

Honestly, I do think Tonks has reverted to a natural, un-morphed state, though I wanted to explore how it might have been done convincingly this way. Very pleased you like this fic so far. Hope you continue to do. Thanks very much for your feedback!

Looking forward to reading whatever tweaking you've done to this piece but I really just wanted to comment on how cool and festive your site looks. Very cool.

Think there might be some changes in the sex scene, due to it being the first full one I ever wrote. Not too much major before that. But thanks for re-reading. :)

Aren't the holiday themes fun? I wanted something a little different for the holidays. The white's kind of shocking after the brown!

How's the art coming along?

well, since you brought it up, I had to go back and read the sex scene again. You know, to make sure I'll be able to spot any changes you might make to it later...;)

It's only shocking the first time, when one is expecting the browns. This color scheme goes perfectly with your A Christmas Story icons.

How's the art coming along?Tragically, real life is conspiring against me. My best bud from High School came in Wednesday night and is staying with me through the holidays. He'll be visiting with other friends and family this first week while I'm still working but when I'm off, we'll be spending a lot of time together. I still have to practice with the tablet first and get to know what it can do before I'll feel ready to jump in on the art. ( ... )

LOL, yes, I'm sure that's why you read it again...

Hope you do find time admit the company to get some practice! I'm excited about the next one, but still about this one, too!

I like it. The weariness and despair are woven in quite nicely.:)

Thank you very much! Not personally having any experience with these sorts of events and emotions, I'm very glad you feel they came across believably. Hope you like the next chapter!

Interesting variation -- always good to see, as some R/T storylines can get a bit cliched sometimes. :)

I'm so pleased this strikes you as an original take. I personally always find it hard to believe that Remus and Tonks are always wanting and able to do it at the drop of a hat because, well, people aren't. ;) Hope you like where I go with this one. It was interesting to write. Thanks for your feedback!

I always thought that Tonks's appearance through HBP was mirroring Remus's and it was that fact, more than anything else what ended up driving him away - like it was the confirmation he'd always expected to get that he was "bad" for her. Good job on the first part of the story, and I can't wait to read the rest! :D

I can be swayed either way on the morphing issues thing, though I tend to lean toward Tonks being stuck in a non-morph in HBP. Though I have to admit, writing it this way did make a lot of sense to me, and as you say, I think would definitely not bhave been an easy thing for Remus to handle, especially in light of everything else they have to face.

Really appreciate your feedback on this first part, and I hope you continue to like the rest.
