So now you know exactly what Poligny looks like :)
You'll be getting 'Murder in Mesopotamia' , I expect. They take a few liberties with the text, but on the whole, very decent. (Steer well clear of the vile 'Marple' abominations, though - the Joan Hickson adaptations were great. The new stuff is a serious travesty.)
That was one of my first thoughts, actually! "So THAT'S what he looks like!" :)
I haven't seen any of the Miss Marples. I've been hearing...things... ;)
By the way, I just saw Part One of "The Pandorica Opens." Part Two will air this coming Saturday. I'm pretty sure my brain is going to explode!!!! I knew things were not going to go so well when the ep opened with poor Vincent screaming bloody murder. :/
Did you guess what the Pandorica was for? My guess was that when it opened, somehow he would be stepping OUT, instead of being locked in.
I'm looking forward to part two! I have faith in the Doc, but all the planets fading to black at the end of this part was not promising. I'm interested to see how he's going to get out of this one!
So far, Poirot has been awesome! I also really enjoy Masterpiece Classic. :) My favorite so far was when they did a Jane Austen series, because it actually started airing the night of my 18th birthday. I was so thrilled! :) The Charles Dickens one was also quite excellent.
I Love Poirot too! There are several Poirot episodes going back fifteen or so years. I was such a fan all those years ago that I wrote David Suchet a fan letter and he responded! He sent me a small autographed photo and a short letter! I still have it, somewhere!
You should write to him too, hopefully you'll get lucky like me! I've seen most of the Poirot episodes, but not the new ones yet!
I like the new Miss Marple episodes too!
As for Doctor Who, I loved last Saturday's episode! It was very exciting; I can't wait for next week. I wish the Doctor would have listened to River and avoided falling into that trap! I felt sorry for the Doctor locked up in that claustrophobic box!
That's awesome! I should send him a letter. I had a friend who sent Alan Rickman one for me for my sixteenth birthday. I'm 21 now, and have never heard back. XD
As soon as that box began to open up under Stonehenge, the sky outside my window got SO dark and this huge thunderstorm rolled in! I was like "EEP." Hee! I hope Amy is going to make it! I was seriously freaking out at the end there!
I Love Alan Rickman! He's so sexy and dangerous! And of course, a great actor too! Did you see him in Truly, Madly, Deeply? That is one of the best films I've ever seen, and he won the British Orange Award for it! He was absolutely perfect for the Caterpillar in Alice!
You should try again until you get it! He's a lot more popular now because of Harry Potter!
Amy will be fine. Remember, the Doctor is the Time Lord, he can rewrite history!
Ooo no, I haven't but I'll definitely have to see it! :)
I have faith in the Doc, but I'm wondering if he still exists as of where the ep left off. Everything was blinking out, but it didn't look like the Earth did. The screen went black before it could disappear or anything. I'm excited to see what's next! :D

(I was rather more focussed on Rory in roman armour, though...the man is adorkable.)
