I haven't read Persuasion, but I'm an admirer of Austen's works.
And I must say you're really honoring her with this, your writing is so lovely and sensitive. :)
I'm anxiously waiting for more!

(I'm also having a blast imagining all the characters wearing 18th century clothes)

Same thing happens to me all the time. ;)

Oh man, Alan Rickman as Colonel Brandon...okay, I'm not one to actually squeal OUT LOUD in real life, but it must have happened about fifty times during that movie! He was so great. :)

Fav lines: "The air is full of spices" and "It is a secret."
