*Approves of reading list* You've inspired me to dig out some Austen. (I have read all the books I got on Saturday already - bad.) But a big shout out to the Camelot crew! I tend to be a bit twitchy about the Chanson, knowing the history from the other side of the battle, but...well, swords, wheeee!....
I know, I keep buying books and just reading through them in one or two sittings! Not good. 0_0
I picked up the Chanson because I was reading for my Brit Lit class, and an article mentioned Charlemagne, etc. and something in it hit me and I was like "Ooo! Dark Tower stuff!" so I picked it up. :)
What Austen were thinking of digging up? (Persuasion is my favorite, obviously. Haha ^^)
I have one of those brick-thick volumes - P&P, Emma, Persuasion and Northanger Abbey. I'm giving 'Persuasion' another go. :)
I have a nice little wish list of crime novels, myself - new Laurie King out soon. The problem with working from home, temptation is literally all round me, and Amazon is a constant thorn.
Yay Persuasion! :) It's my absolute favorite. I love them all of course, but I have a soft spot for that one. Plus, it's the only one that hasn't been riddled by zombies or anything yet! XD
That's the only thing that worries me about working from home (considering freelance editing if I can't find a position anywhere): my bookcase and the lovely possibilities on Amazon! I'm not good with temptation.
