Looky! I wrote gen fic. Not 'I tried to write Daniel/Vala and it turned out gen fic by accident', but actual, on-purpose gen fic. *is pleased*

Janet took several deep breaths, obviously trying to rein in her amusement. “Well,” she said when she finally managed a serious face, “it’s more cut-and-dried than ‘he always left the toothpaste in the wrong place’, don’t you think?”
This part (and the next sentence) made me giggle. Because really, isn't that just the most ironic (warning: word not used appropriately) thing ever? Janet wanting an ex she can hate. Awesome.
I like the observation here: Her friendship with Janet was still new, and before Cassie, had been sporadic, since Sam spent so much time off-world; and even though Cassie helped, neither woman was the type to spill her life’s secrets easily.
It feels right to me--that even though they are similar women in some ways, they're still not extremely close. It's a good view of their relationship, I think.

And yeah, I set this early initially because I wanted a small Cassie (have I mentioned I'm a total sucker for Cassie?), but it made the relationship more interesting because it's still forming. And how you get from season one to the end of Heroes, where Sam's just so devastated, that stuff fascinates me.
Anyway, thanks, and I'm glad you liked it! =)

ANYway, I haven't written much Janet (and this is the first time I've actually posted any, I think), so I'm very happy it works for you! Thank you!

I am so glad you still liked it, though! I always love the behind-the-scenes stuff, like Janet and Cassie or Janet and Sam just on a normal day. Thanks for commenting!
