I went out of my way to tell the part of me that feels that way to shove off a couple of times this year, and I'm fairly pleased about that.

You know I already agree with you 100% on the babyfic question, and I'm so glad you told that part if you to shove it because what followed has been some of your finest work. So there.

Ah, writing. The inexhaustible supply of ways to self-sabotage never ceases to amaze me. Then again, I suppose the thought process of working through whatever's bugging you is part of what makes the good stuff good. :)
