I liked the way you went with this, that Jack felt honored to be compared to Jacob. He's secure enough in who he is that he didn't have weird feelings being compared to Sam's dad. LOL
Did Pearson know that he and Sam are together? If not, I wouldn't mind another fic of him at that dinner party with them trying to fix him up. :D (And feel free to ignore this! I'm a presumptuous PITA, aren't I. LOL)

Also you are totally not presumptuous - I love prompts - but by the time I finish the fics, the prompters have usually either vanished from the internet, or forgotten about their prompt entirely. Hah.
Really I'm just glad there are still people around actually reading in this fandom, because I seem to be the immovable object at this point! *g*

(Altho' I thought, when Pearson said, 'Strange that.' I thought he meant it was strange that Carter made it to the party and Jack didn't, not that Pearson thought Sam was strange. Of course, then I had an instant dislike to him, thinking Sam was strange. ;p)
