And while I think it's great for even the president to continue the romance in his life, I don't approve it being on taxpayer dime.

Can anyone confirm/deny how it was paid for? Any thoughts or opinions on the matter?

I don't really care since it hasn't been carried away yet with Obama, but I do have an opinion on the matter, which I've made clear at least on the NY community XD

Presidents should be righteous, they should foot the bill for personal shit and set an example.

Especially if said president was pushing the notion of CHANGE so hard during their compaign.

Grant it, I do foresee change coming because of this administration, why not ride the extreme track while you're moving? XD

but we're still paying his salary, regardless. since we voted for him (irt democracy, i haven't had cause to vote yet as not a single candidate i've chosen to support in any given election has actually made it far enough and i'm too efficient an individual to waste my time on a write-in) we're paying for him out of our taxes. it just depends on which cookie jar he's dipping into to collect the cash. democrat or republican, left or right, a politician is a politician - they want your power and your money. they just want to spend both on different things.
