My dear friend,
I congratulate you on your move to appeal and to rid yourself of this silly Registry. Edgeworth and Newcombe, as I am sure you know, are very able, and I am not uncertain that you shall find yourself free once again.
I myself am working on my own appeal, which will hopefully be ready before Christmas.
We should have tea soon.

Thank you for your kind words of support. Any legal matter is bound to be tedious, draining and taxing to one’s strength and patience. This one was a necessity and my husband suggested immediate action would be best.
I only regret not consulting with you beforehand regarding the media. Their attention to my situation was most unexpected, and I willingly leave them to the lawyers.
Eadgar Edgeworth was most helpful, suggesting that we retain Mr. Riordan’s services was very wise, and hopefully will increase my chances for a favourable decision.
Do let’s meet for tea and mutual sympathy on the endurance one must have for this current Ministry.
Yours truly,
Millicent
