Car accidents suck. x.x; I totalled one of my cars running a red light x.x; Is the car salvageable at least?

It is in a technical sense, but it's more a question of whether it's cost-effective to do so. As I understand, we can get most of the damage repaired fairly cheaply with used parts, but if I want airbags in the future I'll have to pay several thousand dollars.

I'm not exactly enthused about that, y'know?
