Yesterday I ate some Chipotle and bitched about how much it costs (chicken burrito with guac is $7.70!!!). Today I went by Safeway to get ingredients for burritos. I cooked the chicken, made the rice and beans, and slapped guac on top ( Read more... )

we made some pretty tight fajitas/burritos at our apartment, they didn't stack nearly as high as chipotle. thats why me going to chipotle is like when I was five and got to go to McDonalds. Chipotle should give out toys.

Can anyone ever beat Chipotle? I am not sure.

And yeah, the guac price SUCKS. I'm used to getting vegetarian, which has guac included, so I didn't think it was THAT much extra. Maybe I'll just get the vegetarian one next time, or somehow bring my own guac. Or I could get it to go and dump Whole Foods guac on it once I get back.

Must cheat Chipotle out of money...

It is a place which would make an absolute KILLING in Montreal. You go in and pick burrito, fajita, burrito bol, etc and what you want in it: chicken, beef, vegetarian, etc. Then you pick your own salsa and if you want sour cream, guac, lettuce, cheese, etc. Basically it's Subway but Mexican. And the burritos arw HUGE! Seriously, it IS two meals.

Or when border guards decide to do full-car inspections when it's -40 and you aren't bundled up because you're in the car!
