Nothing says "More Joy" like "Birds of Prey Relaunch," but that was yesterday. So I think it is time to talk about why BoP is the greatest! And by "talk about" I mean "post a gazillion pictures of." Not even remotely dial-up friendly.)

I literally shrieked, jumped out of my chair, and did a little dance when I read the announcement. They're BAAAACK and it's gonna be SO AWESOME!

It's always fascinated me how Chuck Dixon apparently thought Dinah didn't know Batman's identity.

HELLO, OLD-GUARD JLA POLICY. Not to mention their entire history as friends. Pffffffffft.

Yeah, I don't know what that was about! I know the Seattle stuff cut off Ollie and Dinah from the rest of the DCU for a while, but that shouldn't've erased all the history.

In the places where it matters (Bruce Wayne: Murderer) I just assume that Dinah's had memory fuck-up from the Lazerus Pit.

Everywhere else, I just remember that there's a scene in Suicide Squad in which Babs doesn't know Bruce's identity and I remember some writers are really weird about the Batdentity.

I love Shiva. I especially love Shiva and Canary or The Question, in any incarnation.

Shiva is AMAZING. I haven't read a lot of Question stories with her in, but I definitely loved her in BoP and Batgirl!

She's more with Vic than Rene but if you can, find the Blackest Night issue of The Question - it has excellent Shiva and Renee.
