Yeah, I'm miffed by this whitewashing of the character, too.

What, they couldn't find a hot, buffed out, talented hispanic actor? Really?

Liam Neeson as Ra's was bad enough. We don't have to do this again.

Ugh. So gross. Or the one I hearrd someone say about the whole white Ra's thing which which was sort of a "what do you want more villainous non-white people in movies?" thing and it's like well, it's better than NONE AT ALL.

Well, no, what I WANT is a Renee Montoya movie! But that is not actually going to happen ever, so.

If the Nolanverse were a comic I'd have dropped it a long time ago, y'know? Arghhh.

Heh. Yes, I definitely do!

There's a reason I didn't pay to see -- whatever the title of the second one was... My buddies had already told me it was full of fail.

I have disliked this franchise from the beginning.

Batman Begins is actually what got me into Batman? In my defence, I was fifteen or so when it came out, I liked a lot of things then that I can't stand now.

To be fair to the new franchise - I don't like Nolan as a director and I can't stand Christian Bale.

Please note, I'm not disparaging Bale's acting abilities I just don't care for him. I am however disparaging Nolan's directing. IMO his action sequences lack cohesion it seems [to me] that he can never quite figure out what/who the POV should be.

I do like the Bat "toys" in the new franchise and Lucius Fox and Commissioner Gordon and Alfred. And those four things alone keep me buying the tickets.

I am absolutely not a fan of Chris Nolan, as a director or a writer (or, I suspect, as a person). Christian Bale's Bruce is okay, but his Batman is all wrong.

The supporting cast definitely make the films. It's just too bad Leslie Thompkins won't get to be part of that.
