FYI to flist- I've decided to give up interneting while at work for Lent. This will probably be the hardest thing I've ever done, but I can't seem to cut down, so I'm bringing in reinforcements!

I'll try to get to as much Immy, JJB and flist as I can during my minimal home internet time!

Not being Catholic and/or christian, the answer to that would be no. However, as religion fascinates me to no end, I find the whole Lent/Easter time of year interesting. *random*

As an ex-Catholic, I no longer give anything up for Lent. Damn - I don't think I could ween myself off the web. The last three vices left to me are scads of reading material, dark chocolate and the internet. There's got to be something else you could give up, sweetie!

I once heard of a sermon which focused on hidden sins in life and stealing and the minister akined using work time on the internet as stealing because you were stealing time from work. Although I don't agree with it whole-heartedly, I see the point.

I'm not Catholic, but I like to observe this period anyways.
