I've only played the game twice~ but Hubby has invited a bunch of people over to play on Saturday and I would like to make a good impression!

Does anyone have any scrabble-playing tips for me?

Once again:

Read the dictionary or try playing bookworm (yahoo games) a lot in the meantime to help improve strategy and vocab.

Alternatively, just serve a lot of booze, then no one will care anyway :D

I do not only as I have no one to play with. I reckon if you Google it you can find some helpful websites or they make these CRAZY strategy-guides that you should be able to pick up at any local bookshop.

B&N here I come! I was told to get a scrabble dictionary. That's on my list, too.
