red food colouring?

hi - can anyone point me towards a source for red food colouring that ISN'T made from chemicals or bugs? I want to make red velvet cupcakes but am not keen on using e-numbers or crushed bug shells to achieve the red hue...

I'm in the UK but have family/friends in the US so can get them to send it over if not available outside of the US!

Some people use beet juice for color, plus a teensy bit of regular red food dye.

I had this prob too, Posey. If you're talking about the Jamie ones, they're fab with no food colouring at all! :) :)
