*ow* Glad you're both ok and the otherdriver admitted fault. Fridays... what is it about Fridays? We were 2nd on the scene when a campervan turned over on the M5 last Friday when we were on our way up to Hay-on-Wye. Extremely lucky 78 year old lady driver suffered a cut to one finger and two small cuts to her elbow, her two very well trained dogs got away with no injuries at all.

people rush to get places on a friday I guess, it's always the busiest day on the traffic news with lots of accidents.
Ho hum well it's a good start to a driving career- totalling am XJS

it was scary but overall we are OK, K* is getting stiff around the shoulders now and my ankle hurts quite a bit, I think I'll get it looked at if it's as bad tomorrow.

Thank you for the hugs :-)

You guys must've had quite a scare. Glad you're both alright and that everyone was helpful. Hope knowitallteen isn't put off by this.

She is occasionally quite teary and shaken then goes back to normal for K*.
Unfortunately it seems she is starting to stiffen up around the shoulders, I just hope she's OK in the morning when she starts her job

Warm/Hot shower/bath, followed by keeping the shoulders covered and warm (hot water bottle or heat pad) and some ibuprofen (if she can take it) every 4-6 hours for a day or two. But you know all this :)

Yikes. Glad everyone's OK. And gin does seem called for.

gin applied, sparingly but effectively, to me at least. K* starts her job at 8am tomorrow so only imbibed strawberries and balsamic vinegar as proffered by her boyfriend.
It seemed to help though :-) or maybe that was just the boyfriend...

Hugs to both of you.

I had something similar when a guy ignored the fact he wasn't on a true roundabout and had to give way to me. That was a few years after I'd passed my test though.

Hope it doesn't put knowitall_teen off driving.
