I must rerewatch episode because I missed some stuff.... Captain Jack was on? No, no cap'n Jack Sparrow, the other one Eric was on? at least the shut the door on the Braedons for good. :) ps I fixed it in my fic (mostly)
Sorry, I was making a bad joke, because she has shown up in two of my fandoms looking for a father figure for her son and I was going to warn the rest about her.
Oh, that was the WORST SEASON FINALE EVER. And I still wibble somewhat during the seasons 3 ending (even though I know everything is cool and all). But, overall.... I want you to fix it. And I want Castiel redeemed in Dean's eyes (not to Dean's standards, but to Cas' own standards). I want Sera Gamble and Eric Kripke to STOP TRYING TO MAKE CAS, A MOTHER-FRAKKING ANGEL OF THE LORD, a bad guy. Sure, the rest of the angels were not cool, but Cas is different. He's a different breed of angel altogether. BTW, Monday. Super donuts, coffee/Mountain Dew, and 15 minutes of uninterrupted theories.
You do realize that I haven't done my post for the finale yet. This was just 06x21.
I fear the theory will be too far out there. I may want a day to fine tune it before I unveil it to you. Just know that I took every ounce of fangirl hope that I had left in my heart and I poured it into this bizarre theory to cling to until season seven crushes me into oblivion.
Dean has just been flat out mean to Cas. - Worse, even. He was actively pushing Cas away in the latter part of the season. And yet he has the gall to be all, "You're family." Gah, Dean, seriously, I love you, but you're such a hypocrite sometimes. If he's like a brother to you then damn well try and save him like you did Sam. *is still upset at Dean*
Dean always asks Cas to trust him and he hardly ever explains why he does anything, but he doesn’t extend that trust back. - It's the Big Brother Syndrome. He used to do the same to Sam, until as late as 5x22 (his, "You're not a kid anymore, Sam, and I can't keep treating you like one." speech).
Cas says he will bring back Lisa and Ben and then asks Dean to stand behind him. That isn’t the same as stand down. - I shook my fist at Dean at that moment because of his jumping to conclusions and automatically shutting Cas out.
It was a car accident, just don’t ever look for a police report, look at your car, or check the insurance. - Or your murdered boyfriend in your living room. Or
( ... )
If he's like a brother to you then damn well try and save him like you did Sam. EXACTLY! Dean is making it so very hard to love him.
When Cas talks about trust and he makes sad face it kills me!
I just wanted to shake Dean. He didn’t even listen to anything Cas said. Evil!Dean is evil!
I guess Cas had to erase all the way back to 03x02. - Also, the whole Lisa thing - *Prepares dramatic overshare* I had several surprise step-parents when I was younger. I tend get irrationally angry that Lisa let Dean, in the state he was in after 05x22, be an authority figure in Ben’s life. I fully admit that I am just projecting, but that is my “why I dislike Lisa” story.
I am going to rewatch the finale and then I should be ready to theorize.
