Here are some more photos from yesterday at Six Flags Over Georgia.  We rode Goliath three times, and Acrophobia twice.  David mentioned this morning that he was also uneasy at the top of Acrophobia, but that didn't keep him (or any of us) from doing it ONE MORE TIME!

We left at 5 AM,  and got out of town before the real traffic started.  Today was the first time we pulled the camper on the highway (I know, brilliant genius!) and it took some getting used to.  There were a few tense moments of serious sway before we settled in and learned how to cope with 3000lbs behind us at 70 mph.  The mpg was a LOT better ( Read more... )

Hi there!  On Friday morning June 9, David and I are leaving on a 20+ day journey to celebrate some milestones.  His oldest daughter Amanda will be turning 18 and graduating from Canandaigua Academy.  We are towing the popup camper behind the Explorer, and plan to visit many  places and ride many roller coasters.  Our plans include Six Flags Over ( Read more... )

So I started my other job about 2 months ago, working at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. And found out it was stupid. What a waste of time and energy and gas money. Its 65 miles round trip, and only pays $7/hour. Oh but the benefits, like you know FREE TICKETS!!!! Anyway, I am getting excited about our summer vacation. The latest game at my house is "Name That Camper!" No, not a kid, the pop-up camper we just bought. I though Sonny (so we would always be on Sonny's side of the street), pumpump (originated in a typing error), and Orville (as in Redenbacher - you know, pop corn). Suggestions?

We bought a popup camper and a truck to pull it with this week. We are spending part of our summer vacation in NYS at the Mr's daughter's HS graduation, and hitting a jillion roller coasters on the way there and back. Can't wait!

I only did this so I can re-connect with old friends. Look out, Sammy's back. And married, no kids, living in Florida and loving it. Will be back in NY for the summers, because my husband is also a bus driver.

So now we are snow-birds. Or not. Really.
