Heather has met someone.
Not just "someone".

We met him last night, they came over for chicken chili. The chili was ok, the wine was excellent and the conversation was even better. We walked down memory lane and back again, laughing all the way.

School starts tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited. The past few weeks have been absolute HELL trying to work with the kids home. Had I not gotten a promotion and been doing so much more than I used to, it wouldn't matter so much, but its been hard....really hard.  Can you believe it???? We've been married 13 years today!!! We've been through so much, changed so much and loved so much......hopefully many more happy years to come!!!!! 
To celebrate, we're going to soccer practice, probably following by a romantic TV lit dinner for 4 of pizza we'll pick up on the way home. Living the high life......

Last night I finished yet another book. I truly think I've met a personal record, sad as that sounds. 
I read James Patterson's Sam's Letters to Jennifer. It was a quick read, even for me, and I enjoyed it a lot. Next, Jim, is that one you suggested. I'm waiting for the library to let me know it's in. :-)
