Hello Jill, So great to see this excellent chapter. I thought at first I'd need to recap but no! by the second line I was right back into Jack's insecurities, Ennis' dodginess and the feeling of looming disaster, then the relief that the weekend turned out so happy and loving....until ... the last line!! So bad.
This update just made my Sunday night - thank you, and already I can't wait till the coming Christmas reunion of our boys! New Year greetings to you and yours, and may there be much furious scribbling and creative bursts of energy to keep your ever-hungry readers calm (before the storm!). Thanks again, Emjay.

Hi!

I'm writing another E/J story that is nearly complete, though it's not online anywhere. If you read the journal entry before this post, a while back I was looking for a group of readers interested in reading the new story - I send chapters via email - as well as providing some feedback on the story.

E/J are a natural jumping-off point for me, but the story is for submission/hopefully publication so I decided not to post it to a journal.

I too did not need to recap. At all. On board from.the first word to the last. Only now I'm.worried about that last line. Can you give us a ball park idea as to when you might update? I've missed your wonderful portrayal of Jack's angst and Ennis' shifty apparent ambivalence.

Thanks so much for commenting! As for a ballpark estimate for the next update - I'm so bad at that:) I always have more to say than I think.

I have two more chapters to go on my other J/E story which shouldn't take more than a week or two (though I'm sick atm - yuck) and then I'll head back over to Going Left for a while :) So, with that totally unhelpful explanation, I'd say maybe a month? Two at most?

I'll do my best - and thanks for sticking with the story!
