I thought this was beautifully done, and not so much a dead Jack fic because you did a portrait of their lives together. Sad, and additionally sad for me because I have a friend who is terminally ill with cancer now. But sweet and worthwhile.

I applaud you for trying a different genre, and look forward to more of AMOS.

i'm not really sure how this one will be received, but thanks for reading and commenting. it was weird to write something not au/au but i'm glad i did.

the new multi-chapter fic i'm working on is in 1st person- primarily an excuse for me to try something new!

This was beautifully written I did cry but not so much for Jack because it is a blessing to be no longer in pain. Ennis is the one my heart goes out to, he lost his best thing, his friend his lover his constant companion, nothing can fill that void.But they did have a long and wonderful life together so much more then most people have.

thanks so much for reading and commenting. i agree with you that ennis is in a sadder situation. im glad, though, that you saw past the sad to the happy life they had together. thats what i was hoping for. :)

they did have so much more then they ever thought they would have. Many years of love and life together. But it's heatbreaking all the same.
