Set the fire to the third bar - Snow Patrol
Hurt - Johnny Cash (cover)
Gorecki - Lamb
Who wants to live forever - Queen
Fifteen years - The Levellers
Too bad - Nickelback.
Missing - Everything but the girl
Everybody hurts - REM

These are the main ones that spring to mind for me.

There's this from the Buffy soundtrack, probably my favourite depressing song. Or I've always found DC Talk's 'The Hardway' good for bashing myself round the head with, depends what you want really.

Oh that's good. If you go with Buffy songs Ballad for Dead Friends by Dashboard Prophets is pretty good.

Anyways, I has made you a playlist. :)

The link is here

Songs include;

What hurts the most - Rascal Flats
It ends tonight - All American Rejects
My December - Linkin Park
Almost Lovers - A Fine Frenzy
I want you (She's so heavy) - Across the Universe Soundtrack
Breathe Me - Sia
My Friends - Johnny Depp
Could it be any harder - The Calling.

Just a few I like really. Maybe it'll help. :)

Vicious World - Rufus Wainwright
Dinner at Eight - Rufus Wainwright
Ghost in this House - Alison Krauss and Union Station
The Darkness - Kane
Kill Myself - Tim McGraw
Whiskey Lullaby - Alison Krauss and Brad Paisley

I've got a rather diverse taste in music I'm afraid lol.

Most of Evanescence first album is pretty depressing, Hurt by Nine Inch Nails (the original, it was later covered by Johnny Cash) and Fade to Black by Metallica (speak to me about music, i will always manage somehow to mention Metallica! XD)

That's all i can think of at the moment. And anyway, if you're depressed you shouldn't be listening to depressing songs! you should be listening to stupid, cheesey happy songs to cheer you up! (or just ogle the Janto) :P

Oh yeah, I really like Evanescence!

LOL Metallica isn't too bad, so relating to it all the tiem isn't a particulaly bad thing :P

Well, I wanted a depressing song for my myspace profile, but now, I just like seeing everyones suggestions.

Okay then missy, what stupid, cheesy happy songs should I be listening to?? :P

Yep, at least one or two per album/era. In fact they have one called "A Day Without Me" but the music to it is too upbeat for it to be truly depressing. Should be on TV Tropes for lyrical dissonance though.

*HUGGLE* You're welcome.
