Packing/To-Do list for seven nights in S. California:
1. Clothing obviously -- functional stuff, warm, because California in January is not like what Wills and the kids think it is (remember to bring windbreaker)
2. Hide windbreaker from Spike and Magdalena as they will try to destroy it
3. Get new trainers since Pavi is appalled by the superglue fix
4. Wash all clothes-- make sure Graham has clean pants/socks
5. Travel shampoo, soap, combs, toothbrushes, make sure Graham has his toothbrush
6. Two bag limit for Pavi-- ensure she doesn't bribe Graham to give her half his bag space and then wear the same t-shirt and jeans for seven nights running
7. Ensure Pavi doesn't bribe Wills to give her half his bag space with promises of good behaviour so he wears the same scruffy tshirt and unravelling cords for seven nights running
8. Reiterate argument with W and G re: 'laundry maths' (how many nights one can wear the same pair of jeans/pants before having to go commando)
