Shannon had to go to the hospital yesterday. She was at softball practice, and someone hit a pop fly into right field. The sun got into her eyes, she couldn’t see where it was going, and it smashed down on her sunglasses. This prompted one of the lenses to pop out and gouge her forehead ( Read more... )

Oh, and regarding your Blog of Bad, I have an idea: Bad Facial Hair. You could do one about Hitler's mustache, and how even since before he joined the nazi party, people all over were making fun of it.

I definitely have a lot of Bad Hair entries in me (The Mullet, Comb-overs, Toupees, etc.), but I hadn't considered Facial Hair. So much good badness.

Ohhh! Toupees! This one newscaster on the DW Journal has one, and sometimes he has it on in different ways and it's SOOOOO obvious! Ahem. Yes, good idea.

My mom is in the hospital for her broken hip two weeks after her reconstructed ankle surgery and I am cleaning out her garage with my dad.
and I ran into a friend from 7th grade in a burger joint.
