They were reluctant to reveal to me the exact reasons of why I was fired. I even called human resources to talk to the person that my former boss said I should speak to if I wanted to learn more about my termination. She wasn't very helpful either. However I did learn that they plan to replace me, which is very bizarre.... I don't want to go into the bits and details, but my theory is that someone with muchos power wanted a university student of his/her own, and seeing that I was the only temporary ( = for the summer only) student that didn't have any real connections, they figured that they could get rid of me and put this person in. I really wanna see what happens there over the next week or so. They'll be backed up to hell with only 2/4 students there (one left to study in Quebec for a month). I also can't wait to see whom they hire, and more importantly who this person "knows"....

wow, that sucks so much man....
If they did that to a co-op student, Manulife would lose their co-op company status.
so basically, they would lose a free employee as the tax deductions on a coop student are huge
